The problem is lack of funding. We have enough to have restarted experiments at Edmonton, but we only have enough for rodent experiments right now. Actually the most recent investment is an individual who read about our work on this post.
We continue to talk to JDRF, but their system for alocating resources is very skewed.
We could always use another source of islets, because potentialinvestors worry that primary islets will limit the size of our business.
