This reminds me of the discovery about a decade ago of a very strong statistical correlation between cigarette smoking and NOT developing Alzheimer's Disease. The extensive study even found that the more a person smoked per day and the more years one smoked, the less the chance of Alzheimer's. For some reason, however, the Surgeon General never got around to adding to the health warnings on cigarette packs the fact that cigarettes would help prevent Alzheimer's!
