Once again, a plethora of hypotheses, a dearth of evidence.

Consider the assertion: In 1979, Quast and colleagues noted that in the first two years after mumps and measles-mumps vaccines were introduced into Germany, two cases of Type-I diabetes following immunization with measles-mumps and mumps vaccines respectively were reported to the manufacturer. Even someone with the most basic understanding of statsitics would ask, "How many people received the vaccine in those 2 years, and of that number, how many would we normally expect to develop diabetes in the general poopulation?" Perhaps 8 million people received the vaccine, and 2 developed diabetes. Is that your idea of cause and effect?

There may certainly be adverse effects from vaccines, but crap like this helps assure that we will never uncover it.

Al
