Kristy, please understand that I am not saying that ADA does NO good whatsoever. They definitely provide excellent service in the form of camps, supplies, and maybe some other things that I can't think of. However, their contribution to curing type 1 diabetes is negligible, and maybe even negative. Therefore, anyone who wishes to donate money to find a cure for type 1 diabetes (as opposed to funding services for families with diabetes) should not give his or her money to ADA.
