Dennis, you are one sick puppy. What do you propose all of our kids DO while they wait for the elusive cure? Regular camps very often wont accept them. Parents need a break, and a gradual training in letting-go of their children with diabeetes. Diabetes camps are a great boon to families. Educational value, recreational, a sense of being just "one of the kids", and hope...all available through camps for kids with diabetes.
Of course we need a cure, but most of us want our kids to have lives, and not sitting around whining, moaning, and criticizing small children and their efforts while they wait. Shame on you.
