Thank you for all your hard work and efforts to raise awareness about diabetes and for helping make life better for those who benefit from ADA. While ADA may not contribute the majority of their funds to type 1 diabetes cure research, as an organization it certainly does do a lot to raise awareness about diabetes and print publications that are VERY helpful to parents raising children with diabetes. Sweet Kids is one book I'm forever thankful ADA published along with many others. I'm grateful for their publications Diabetes and Diabetes Care and their scientific sessions etc. And Camp Seale Harris has a fantastic reputation as expressed by the thousands of children with diabetes who have attended over the years.
Some people rant here and you just can't take it personally.
I know you Kristy and I know the depth of your sincerity and commitment. You and your family are treasures fighting for the same things we all fight for, including, but not limited to, improving the lives of all who live with diabetes. I thank you for all you do. Your precious son is also spectacular little spokesperson for our cause!
