I make no claim to be a victim. My only point is this is the way people behave. It is a natural outcome of violence by one group against another. I do not resent what happened to the Germans or the Irish during these times, I understand it and accept it. You are foolish for thinking otherwise. But, these actions are not the brightest part of American history. Let us remember that many Islamics also deplore violence, though some do not. Root out those that are un-American and destroy them or send them home but do not create indiscriminate violence against people. During WW1 and WW2 there were many Germans that were killed fighting for America in the wars. They are my light. Look at any of the cemeteries of Allied force in Europe and you will find many, many names of German born Americans even some distant relatives of mine, Eisenhower ws of German descent. These were Jews, Cathoilcs, and all sorts of individuals that had either come here from Germany or whose parents had come from Germany.
I once met a man in Cincinnati that knew and served under Rommel. I asked him if the fact that America had so many Germans serving gave them an advantage on spying and communicating with the enemy. He was most emphatic that this was the case. In fact he said that after his capture the individual that interviewed him spoke German better than he did. Perhaps we can use the same assistance from member of the Islamic communities.
