I only brought up bad laws because you brought the subject up in the first place. And I have already stated that your 2 scenarios are, once again, not parallel. If embryonic stem cells were not very valuable, then there wouldn't be such a rush to study them. The truth is that they are extremely valuable; not "brain dead" but rather, brimming with life, with endless potential. I completely understand why scientists want to study them, I also understand that you can't seem to admit that there is a real and valid difference between a child that tragically lost its life and has no future and a life that is just beginning. I'm sorry for that because I know your not alone in this regard. All I would hope is that you know exactly what it is that you're asking when you request embryonic research. I did my own research, asked my own questions and at the end of the day, I just can't support it. It wasn't an easy road but it's the one I've chosen.
