Al I know you too have trashed JDF in the past. To tell me this organization has turned course I'll listen to you because I do respect your opinion. But just tell me what has come out of their funding that can give me some sought of treatment option other than insulin for my child in the next several years? Please give me the name of the researchers because we will fund him or her directly rather than go through JDF's 20% commission rate.It amazes us how people bang heads with you if you dare trash JDF.Are they a religious organization, because their supportrers act like it(including us at one time!). And God forbid a researcher has the balls to critize JDF. What do you think will happen to him. He will probably have to spend an additional 200 hours of his time drawing up a grant proposal rather spending his time in the lab finding a cure or more viable treatment for us!
