I, too, in the past, have not been happy with JDF and have had some unfortunate encounters with them. Although I can not yet bring myself to heap praise on the organization as others are able to do (no one else has ever called the police on me!), I do accept that they appear to be making a true attempt to bring us a cure at this time, even though I was one to criticize the money going to opening a new research center rather than pushing forward the research already in progress.
Ellen has been a wonderful advocate of the DRI here on the forum, without detracting from anyone else's work, and has probably sent much support their way by her passionate but positive approach. I hope you will be able to do the same.
