CD154 is the technically correct name for the molecule also known as CD40L (it has additional names in the immunology literature as well). Therefore, CD40L and CD154 are the same. Biogen's anti-CD40L and anti-CD154 monoclonal antibodies are just different names for the same drug. I hope that helps you understand this complicated field.
