Not sure I understand your comment, Sandy. Are you sobered, scared, or sad because of overly restrictive industry aggreements attached to academic research? I am too, but it's a common practice, and can't end soon enuff, IMO. I haven't had a chance to read the draft guidelines yet, but it sounds to me like a promising move towards discouraging and/or ending these sort of arrangements. If that's the case, I am quite pleased about it! :)
