Ellen, it may be a couple of years old, but it does clearly document the "blame the patient" theme - which still goes on rampantly today. It's not at all surprising. Maybe the folks who manufacture the meters should think about making them "idiot proof", since most of us are obviously idiots. Maybe they should ask those of us who actually use and depend upon these devices what we need/want.
