Getting diabetes - and particularly a cure for it - into the thoughts of the general population can only have positive results. People can't think about and talk about and learn about stuff they don't know about. As I've said many times, my awakening to the prospects for a cure came about because of a small article in Reader's Digest in August '97. No doctors ever even mentioned it to me, and I believe most don't know nearly what we know (or believe it can happen in the near future). I'll write my letter very soon.
