Half of the equation seems to be at UC-Davis, the other half went on to become Islet Technology in Minnesota. I don't know where Dr. Cochrum wound up.
I've heard second-hand that there has been great difficulty in replicating the success of Brownie's islet transplant- eg: no one has been able to do so thusfar.
