hi Bill..thanks for the update. Just to add credence to the importance of this initiative, I was in a "chat room" one day discussing with other parents of kids with diabetes how everyone ALWAYS assumes our kids got diabetes because grandpop or gandmom has Type II. We were all concurring how our kids probably just inherited a propensity for autoimmune diseases, since, for example, I have hypothyroidism.....and so did SIX OTHER mothers in the chat room!!!! I realize "random samplings" like this aren't "real science" but it certainly underscores the validity of pursuing this line of thought!!!
