A Paradigm Shift in Diabetes Treatments

I am interested in the 'next generation' of diabetes treatments. It looks like islet cell regeneration is definitely making some headway and safer, longer-lasting insulin is finally on the radar! Most importantly -- I'm looking forward to hearing more about the human trials starting for C-peptide in 2011. Has anybody heard anything yet?
