This is a note for Prof. Elliot. My diabetic daughter has just had her thyroid removed due to cancer. I had it done over 20 years ago for the same reason and my sister has had hers removed. I was thinking that a good application for NTCell would be to encapsulate thyroid cells to restore the full function that was there before the operation. The replacement hormone works, but I lost my energy after the operation as has my sister. I know that the thyroid makes two hormones and the replacement only replaces one of them. It's something you might think about for the future.
