That is not what the study itself said. Take a look at the clinical trials web site run by the FDA. All of the outcomes are specifically listed as "Designated as safety issue: No". None of them are listed as a safety issue!
Sure, you can say safety was the primary focus of the study, but the guys doing the study have already said that it was not in their official summary of their own study.
