Once again, I'm sorry, but YOU ARE WRONG. Dr. Faustman and Dr. Nathan are NOT ALLOWED to release the results until publication. GO CALL MGH!
And as far as phase I results go, the FDA and MGH internal review committee are only concerned with safety to give permission to proceed to a protocol for phase II.
Yes, Dr. Nathan and Dr. Faustman are using the scientific results from the specific designed blood assays to determine which assays will be used for phase II. That is being determined now and the protocol designed. However, once again, funding is the problem to proceed fully.
