Of course they can. For example, at a poster session, or in an oral presentation, at a conference. This is exactly what the guys who did the CD20 research did. While they were waiting for a big name journal to publish their results, they did a poster session. Less detail, but something. Dr. Faustman could do the exact same thing.

But take a look at the press release. There is no mention at all of effectiveness data. No mention of any planned or future publication of any effectiveness data. They mention safety data, but not effectiveness data. It really sounds like the effectiveness part of the experiment was a bust. They could have said exactly what you said: working on a paper for publication, etc. But they didn't.

> On the contrary, they would not be raising funds full steam ahead with plans for phase II if,as you put it, "that machine just didn't work and they couldn't use any of it's data"!
On the contrary, they are excited and want to move on to phase II AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

Oh, I'm sure they are raising money! And as soon as possible, thank you very much! I'm just not sure they have any effectiveness data at all from their phase-I trials. Any sign at all that BCG reduces "killer" T-cells. When they started, that was the whole goal of their phase-I experiment. But in their press release: no mention of that part of this experiment.
