Hi Karen,

Thanks for the response. I realized in retrospect that my questions could have been considered awfully invasive. It's just that I rarely get the chance to ask a transplant recipient directly about their experience.

What's it like being off insulin? Do you still 'feel' your blood sugar level or does that awareness go away after a while?
