The bottom line is that a treatment that restores euglycemia to diabetics and halts/prevents/reverses diabetic complications both acute and chronic is a milestone in healthcare.
The money saved is astronomical.
In my opinion, there is no way NOT to justify it. It essentially is the holy grail for diabetes.
