Al, I highly doubt that we are going to get any valid answers from this individual. If what he is saying is true, then as you well know, we all would have heard the news by now. My gut tells me that this is an early April Fool's Day Joke.
The very best case scenario would be that this was an islet transplant, and with the help of dangerous anti-rejection drugs that do more harm than good, he now has a temporary so-called "cure". But, we all know the end result of the Edmonton Protocol. A self-proclaimed cure with no facts to back it, that all of us have heard before. It is really a shame that folks have nothing else better to do with their lives than to play with people's minds. Maybe if they actually had this disease, then they would know what we are going thru.
