I don't think LCT needs or wants JDRF's assistance...they are a for-profit, publicly traded company who seem to be perfectly able to fund their research and trials with equity issues...why would they want to be beholden to a bureaucratic non-profit with all sorts of strings attached to their funding?
I've never heard any of the principals of LCT say that they want or need JDRF funding, and while I don't agree with some of the research being funded by JDRF, I think your accusations are off base.
Maybe somebody at LCT could put this to rest, or not, once and for all?
