Prof. Elliott -
First off I want to say "Thank You" from the bottom of my heart for all that you have done so far in your heroic efforts to bring Diabecell to Human Trials. You are a true hero to all us Type 1's.
In all honesty however, I would not pay anything for achieving #1 & #2 on your list. I have been fortunate enough to keep my HbA1c between 5.0 & 6.0, and could reduce my daily insulin by 20% by eating less carbs.
But, I would pay any amount to achieve #3 & #4. The highs & lows, and how it negatively affects my personality, and life outlook is what I absolutely hate about this disease. If my blood sugar is not between 65-105, then I am a completely different person, as my family will attest to.
After 12+ years of having Type 1, I am willing to try anything that will help with this, and would spare no expense...God willing.
