Yes, Prof Elliot's suggestion is good as our first target
(A) level 1 target:
1) attaining a HbA1c of less than 7%
2) lowering insulin dose by at least 20%
3) major lessening of severe hypoglycemia.
4) reduction of swings of blood glucose by at least 50%
for at least 2 years.
(B) level 2 target could be :

1) attaining a HbA1c of less than 6%
2) lowering insulin dose by at least 50%
3) major lessening of severe hypoglycemia(below 3.0) should be not more than once per 3 months.
4) reduction of swings of blood glucose by at least 50%
for at least 5 years.
