Re: JDRF is not posted by DavidL
Lets look at my words DavidL. I said (and you quoted), "That is exactly what Living Cell Technologies has in clinical trials and exactly what JDRF considers unworthy of support or even acknowledgment of its existence."
How can you disagree with that? There is no question that JDRF avoids all mention of LCT in its publication and press releases summarizing the state of the art in diabetes research. LCT simply does not exist in JDRFs public disclosures. As well there is no question that JDRF consider LCT unworthy of support despite being in clinical trials in two countries otherwise they would be knocking at LCT's door asking how they can help move this to the next stage. I stand by everything I said.
But even if you are right in your assessment that JDRF is useless because of incompetence and not because of evil intent, the next effect is the same. Taking over one billion dollars out of circulation and spreading misinformation about the leading lights in finding a cure has caused incalculable damage and suffering. That deserves to be acknowledged and its support ended.
