That's a load of crap Derek. LCT has not asked for JDRF $ because it comes with strings attached. Also, JDRF has established entire research sessions dedicated exclusively to encapsulation technology from many companies working with human and animal cells. You are spreading misinformation mixed with propaganda. Why is is that JDRF seems so incompetent often enough? That's easy. The have a more money than sense, and they are crippled by a huge board of decision makers that don't know what they are doing. You would be surprised how many companies are ran poorly. Yes, JDRF is worse than most, but the conspiracy nonsense from people on this board that spread lies is far worse because there it is clearly deliberate.
