I would agree with Al, I really have no trouble with injections and I don't think anyone does. The problem is the endless lows and highs and the long term damage. Any amount of fine tuning that could be provided by islets with no deadly immunesuppressive drugs and no constant fear of sudden failure would be a winner in my books. I would definitely spend my money on it.
I have also heard that awareness of lows improves following a period in which there have been no lows. With islets, even a small amount, lows could be eliminated and awareness would return. What a relief that would be!!
