"Through the program, JDRF will support BD's [Becton-Dickinson] research and development of new products that deliver insulin from a pump to a patient... The JDRF will invest $4.3 million in milestone-based financial support"

Let me see. Becton-Dickinson has annual revenues of over $7 billion dollars, much of it from families with diabetes. Are we supposed to believe that BD would not develop this device unless it got over $4 million dollars of donors' hard-earned money from a charity?

The stench from JDRF gets worse at every press release.
