WTF can any of us do about this corrupt charity so called the JDRF ? Nothing, absolutely nothing !
They are & always will be the face of Type 1 Diabetes, and their job is to keep this evil & nasty disease around for as long as possible.
The really sad thing is that this is the organization that everyone turns to for information & donations. Even the high profile folks (Nick Jonas)who have this disease, or have family members with it, contribute thousands of dollars to these bastards. A lady I work with just lost her sister, who had Type 1, and in lieu of flowers they asked for donations to be sent to the JDRF. This absolutely sickens me, and there is not a damn thing we can do about it.
Our only hope is LCT, and once the momentum continues positively in their direction..then the questions should be asked to the JDRF with many public media sources present. Why did they not support this promisng research, and why do they spend millions on worthless research that would never alleviate our dependence on consumables.
Since they are the face of our disease...they owe us the truth & the answers to these questions.
