We spend USD 12 billion each year on insulin. We could buy troubled Polish insulin producer Bioton for a fraction of that amount and make high quality human insulin on our own. Human insulin made by people with diabetes for people with diabetes. We can buy cheap insulin pen systems from Owen Mumford.
We would have on sole purpose: To increase the global funding for a cure against diabetes by a factor 100. We could sell insulin at 30% of the current price and still achieve our that goal.
Lee Iacocca would be our CEO.
