DDL, I certainly agree 100% with the principle.
The 'worry' is for me about how fast then the price will come down to a level where I myself also can affod it? Will I already be dead or having permanent and severe complications before that day arrives? If LCT was making the 'discovery' available to all other manufacturers free of charge (like originally for Insulin when first brought to the market by Lilly's founder), then I beleive in fast and cheap access to this within reasonable timeframe for us all in this forum. But investors behind are already punching the buttons on the calculators to set strategy to maximize their profits, so...
