Dear Hon David Cunliffe
I am the father of a 20 year old girl suffered from T1 for 3 years. Everyday life is horrible- as we can never know how the blood sugar varying in the next hours. And to the worst, any wrong guess can result in COMA, and to the worst DEATH....
You probably know the life of a T1 patient - FOUR needles injecttions daily + FOUR Blood extraction (for testing blood sugar levels)..... even we have done this does not guarantee a SAFE life.
100'THOUSANDS of our T1 patients have gathered together and waited, waited, waited...... for a cure, and LCT is now the only medical cure possible.
I just hope -- if you can close yr eyes for a while, imagine the life of T1 child as their parents........... you can realize what we feel.......
