I have been using the Accu-check Compact meter for 1 year and have gone through 3 of them during this time. Though they are very convenient the quality and durability are terrible. Customer service has been good about replacement in a timely manner, however, considering that 3 of them have broken in 12 months I am now switching to the Freestyle Flash.
