All you have to do to lead a normal life as a type 1 diabetic is to buy an ACCU-CHEK blood glucose meter and monitor your blood glucose levels - at least the advertising on Canadian TV says so. This would appear to me to be misleading advertising and it enhances the public opinion that we just have to take a few injections to live a normal life.
