I absolutely respect your decision to not have children. I personally think everyone, but especially those who have a serious medical condition should think it over before deciding whether they can commit to being good parents.
You were clearly trying to influence others in an extremely personal decision. I am irritated by your choice to use moral arguments that I don't buy - you are insinuating that your moral views of the world are superior to mine and to others who decided to have children.
Essentially, this is the same position that many of the anti-xenotransplantation, anti-theraputic cloning groups do.
You and klausen were also treading very close to eugenics which I find repellant (for good reason).
