My husband reads this site and told me about this comment and I had to jump in!!
I can NOT believe you saying you can not 'produce' a child who might possibly end up with Type 1 diabetes!!
I was diagnosed with it one week before my 12th birthday. That's almost 29 years now!
I have been married 11 years. Our vows said 'For better and for worse.......in sickness and in health'!!!!!!!! I've dated guys who got scared away by my diabetes and I've dated guys, it didn't bother them! The ones who got scared away.......they obviously weren't worth my time!
And just to irritate you some more.......we have two beautiful daughters!!!!!! Naturally, we hope they live long and healthy lives! If they end up with health issues......it happens!! Doesn't mean it was genetics at all......could just be part of life!
I had to vent. I cannot believe your attitude and it's totally irritated me!!
