I just talked to them too.
They told me a prescription is all they need. Is not recommended for kids but if the doctor gives prescription they will sell it.
it needs calibration every 12 hours and the receiver needs to be within 5 feet of the sensor.
Like with the guardian, changes in insulin only with fingerstick.
Marie was asking some time ago the same question: how reliable is the fingestick? I have tried several times with the same monitor, some blood sample and the results were at ~20mg apart. One day I have tested all 5 monitors from my house, the results ranged from 65 to 110. How can you calibrate over such an elusive device??
