Benfotiamine is supposed to quench the free fradicals released at the from the breakdown of the krebs citric acid ATP NAD NADH energy cycle.
sounds pretty close to what is going on here. But is it close enough? Experiments in rats and human anectodatal evidence seem to say Yes.
